Red Clover ~ Red Clover

You know those little weeds that you have probably already been cutting with the lawn mower and weed eater...

Here's a new idea for them...

Red Clover Lemonade
  • 3 cups Red Clover blooms
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 1/4 cups lemon juice
  • 4 Tbsp honey
Boil the blooms in the water for 5-7 minutes. Strain; add lemon juice and honey to the remaining liquid. Stir, then chill for two hours. Serve over ice. Enjoy!

 Yes, I mean these...

Precaution: 'Red Clover makes a great cleansing tonic, but it should not be used by anyone on blood thinners, anyone who should not be on blood thinners, and those who are pregnant or nursing. If you have any medical conditions, make sure you look up whether Red Clover is safe for your particular case or not before trying.'

Check out this site, where I got this from...

    1. NO IDEA!! Merrill keeps mowing the grass before the clove comes ripe enough to pick!
